One of Our Fossils is a series of sculptures made from 80,000 chicken bones, collected from restaurant leftovers, cleaned, and wired over 500 days.
Scientists predict that chicken bones will outnumber human remains in the fossil record. The work imagines this future as a single, overwhelming form.
The process was structured through a calendar-based time system. Each day, I recorded the number of bones collected alongside gym sessions and meal preparation. The work is defined by how I used my time.
