One of Our Fossils
500 days (2023–2024)

One Of Our Fossils is the first of seven time systems. Over 500 days, the artist collected, cleaned and wired 80,000 chicken bones from restaurant leftovers.

Scientists predict that chicken bones will outnumber human bones in the fossil record, so the artist made a sculpture that makes the viewer feel small.

The work records this period through calendars, with the artist recording the number of bones collected each day.

The 500 days are the material of the work.
