One Of Our Fossils

One Of Our Fossils is a 500-day time system, from 20 June 2023 to 11 November 2024.

 

The artist collected and cleaned 80,000 chicken bones from restaurant leftovers. The number collected each day was recorded on calendars.

 

There may be more chicken bones than human bones in the fossil record. The work makes the viewer feel small.
